How to Lose 5 Lbs in 5 Seconds!
What would you think if I said you could lose 5 Lbs in 5 seconds or even 5 minutes?
I don't want to lead you astray so,... what if you just looked 5 Pounds lighter? We have all seen the before and after pictures of weight loss. They are always impressive and rightfully so. A weight loss product would not be very attractive if the after picture wasn't strikingly different from the before. Look closely.
Makeup is rarely seen in the before picture. Now look even closer, posture is appalling in the before picture. I know that I can relate most everything to posture, but this is crystal clear to me.
Try this, stand in front of a mirror. Wear minimal clothes (if any). Slump, allow your stomach to distend where it wants, keep your shoulders rounded (the way they may already be) take a mental photograph - or better yet, snap one on your phone.
- Engage your abdominals, (pull your belly in),
- Elongate your spine and reach your head up to the ceiling,
- Pull your shoulder blades down and in towards your spine
- And finally... tuck your chin in slightly.
Take another picture. You look 5 lbs lighter, don't you?
The majority of us will appear slimmer.
Look around at your friends, fellow workers, classmates, even people in the mall and grocery store. The people with poor posture are the norm. The few people with good posture stand out, but in my opinion, always look slimmer and more alert.
So if you're trying to lose weight for that special occasion, stay on that healthy diet. When picture time comes, (the hand on the hip will only partially help) remember good posture!!
You will look slimmer and feel better! Practice makes perfect so keep up the practice.
